Product Maintenance

Shower walls

Routine Cleaning
For regular maintenance, simply clean the panels with:

  • Warm water
  • A mild soap or non-abrasive household cleaner
  • A soft cloth or sponge

What to Avoid
To preserve the finish of the panels, avoid using:

  • Abrasive scrubbing pads
  • Harsh chemical cleaners
  • Bleach or acidic cleaners
  • Powdered cleaning products

These products may dull the polished surface over time.

Shower pans

Regular Cleaning

Solid surface shower pans are non-porous and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge along with mild detergents or general-purpose cleaners. For shower pans with a factory matte finish, abrasive cleaners may also be used. To maintain a uniform appearance, it can be helpful to periodically clean the entire surface with an abrasive cleaner (like Bar Keepers Friend — liquid or dry) or a wet blue Scotch-Brite™ pad or sponge.

Spills and Stains

Most everyday spills can be removed using the cleaning techniques mentioned above. For more stubborn stains such as hair dye, a more aggressive cleaning method may be needed. A 50/50 solution of bleach and water can be used — allow it to sit on the surface for 15 minutes before draining and rinsing thoroughly with water. Follow up with a general cleaner. On matte finishes, abrasive cleaners can also be used if preferred.

Precautions

Avoid High Heat: Although solid surface materials can withstand temperatures up to 225°F (107°C), prolonged or extreme heat may lead to yellowing or cracking.

No Cutting or Chopping: Do not use the shower pan for cutting or chopping. While minor scratches may be repairable, deep cuts may require professional repair.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Use strong acids or chemicals (like drain cleaners, oven cleaners, or toilet bowl cleaners) cautiously. If spilled, wipe up immediately, flush with lukewarm water, and clean the area with a sponge.

Scratch Repair

Solid surface shower pans typically come with a matte finish equivalent to sanding with 320-grit sandpaper or buffing with a wet #7448 Scotch-Brite™ pad. To remove superficial scratches:

  1. Use a wet Scotch-Brite™ scouring pad and rub until the scratches disappear.
  2. Clean thoroughly with soap and water.

    For deeper scratches:

  1. Lightly sand the area using 120-grit sandpaper.
  2. Follow with 220–320 grit sandpaper.
  3. Finish by buffing with a wet #7448 Scotch-Brite™ pad to restore the matte look.
